Every recruiter on LinkedIn be like:
I rejected a candidate 665 times.
(Add unnecessary new lines for dramatic effect so that users are forced to click on ‘…more’ to see the entire post.)
On interview 666 the candidate took off his glasses and turned out to be Superman, which I totally overlooked during the first 665 interviews, and so I hired him on the spot.
What can we learn from this?
- There is a superhero in all of us. They’re just waiting to be found.
- Don’t believe everything you read about the Devil’s number being a bad sign.
- I suck at recruiting but please don’t tell my boss.
